Dr. Jun Fang (方俊)
Dr. Fang is an Associate Professor (Tenure-track) in the School of Biomedical Engineering at the Shanghai Jiao Tong University from 2021. He is an Associate Editor of Med-X journal, and Editorial Board Members of Frontiers in Materials, Frontiers in Bioengineering and Biotechnology and Frontiers in Molecular Biosciences. Dr. Fang is serving as conference committee members of TIRMIS-AP and Global Conference on Biomedical Engineering & Systems.
Dr. Fang obtained a joint PhD training (CSC Scholarship) from Donghua University (State Key Laboratory for Modification of Chemical Fibers and Polymer Materials) and University of Pittsburgh in 2015. From 2016 to 2021, he was a postdoctoral research fellow and an assistant project scientist at University of California, Los Angeles.

Dr. Yue Zhou（周越）
Dr. Zhou is an Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering. She graduated from School of life sciences, Fudan University. She received her M.S. in Microbiology from the Medical School of Jiaotong University and Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Bioinformatics from the University of Massachusetts. She worked in Stanford University as a postdoctoral fellow before she joined the Med-X Research Institute and School of Biomedical Engineering in the beginning of year 2009. Her research specifically looks into the molecular mechanism of biochemical and biophysical regulation to vascular cells and host immune response to tissue engineering implants.
Her research projects are funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology and National Natural Science Foundation of China. She has published over 40 papers in peer-reviewed journals including Biomaterials, Cancer Research, and Arteriosclerosis Thrombosis and Vascular Biology. She also teaches "Cell Biology" and "Introduction to Biomedical Science" to undergraduate students and "Scientific English Writing and Presentation" for graduate students.
